Heidi Boghosian

Director

Heidi Boghosian is an attorney, author, and the Executive Director of the A.J. Muste Memorial Institute, a charitable foundation supporting activist and peace organizations. She previously served as Executive Director of the National Lawyers Guild for 15 years, where she oversaw the legal defense of individuals targeted by the government. She co-hosts the civil liberties radio program Law and Disorder on Pacifica Radio’s WBAI.

Boghosian is the author of several books on surveillance and civil liberties, including Spying on Democracy (City Lights, 2013) and “I Have Nothing to Hide” and 20 Other Myths About Surveillance and Privacy (Beacon Press, 2021). She holds a J.D. from Temple Law School and degrees from Brown University and Boston University.
